Jeannine Parker-Ross

was born and raised in Illinois.  She currently makes her home in Crest Hill with her husband and two boys.  Her youngest son was adopted in 2003 at the age of 2 ½ years. 

Jeannine received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Illinois State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  She has several years experience in the areas of child welfare and child protection.

Jeannine graduated from the John Marshall Law School in 2003 and was admitted to practice in Illinois that same year.  Since joining the bar, she has primarily concentrated her law practice in the area of family law. 

Jeannine serves as a Guardian Ad Litem, representing the best interests of children in child custody cases and in adoption, for the 12^th Judicial Circuit (Will County, Illinois).   

She is also on the 12^th Judicial Circuit list of approved Mediators.  She serves as a court appointed mediator and also does private mediations. 

Jeannine is involved with her local church.  She is also her boys’ biggest fan and supports them in all of their endeavors. 

In 2009, Jeannine was diagnosed with endometrial cancer.  After a several month battle against the disease, she is now cancer-free.
