Uncontested Divorce

Often couples find that they can no longer live together and they want to dissolve their marriage; however, they are not prepared to engage in a long and expensive court process.  At Parker-Ross Law & Mediation, we offer an alternative.

Often times one of the parties will engage Jeannine Parker-Ross as their divorce lawyer.  Jeannine will then meet with the parties and attempt to aid the parties in reaching an amicable settlement.  Once the settlement is negotiated, Jeannine will prepare the necessary documents.  The Respondent is advised to have the documents reviewed by the counsel of his or her choosing, if s/he so desires.  Once the documents are signed, Jeannine will schedule a court date to finalize the dissolution of marriage.

The costs involved in an uncontested divorce are much less than in the more traditional litigated divorce.  The parties also often find that proceeding with the divorce in this manner is much less emotionally draining on the parties and their families.
